Chasing storms - Alamy Live News Photography style!

Chasing storms is always good fun. Also, from an Alamy Live News photography work point of view James knows these weather phenomena always generate media interest. As such it’s always worth getting a wriggle on to nail some shots.

Storm Bert was the first which saw James down on the coast and training his lens at ferocious waves whilst the dawn was breaking. Second was Storm Conall  which hit the UK and caused all sorts of travel chaos. Staying closer to home James managed to bag some shots showing the issues drivers were facing.

If you follow James’ updates, or know him personally, you’ll be aware of why the chap gets out and about with his camera. When not working with brides and grooms on wedding shoots, or clicking at sports meets and events James is a roving photojournalist.
